You mean the second floor? I freed his little doggie girlfriend at the top. I'm not sure what trouble you're having, but if you jump and bang your head on the solid lines, you make them go away. Just make sure you catch yourself when you come back down, though.
You're supposed to hit his head against them? Holy Crap!
Not the spiky things, though. He'll spin around and fall if you hit those, and it will be harder to catch him.
