The Digit is in training right now...well, in theory at least. Yesterday we spent a full hour of me stading holding a leash, and him staring at the door at class. All the other dogs were lying down on command, coming when called, etc. And the Digit stared at the door. Our instructor suggested that if he doesnt respond next class, I should move him into the remedial class. Yep, thats right. Digit will ride the short bus.
And now: My statement on the current situation of the Oilers. Roli's not returning for the rest of the series. I havent been so upset/nauseous/angry/sad at the same time since I saw footage of Barbaro breaking his little leg. Pretty much the same story too-- something that Ive believed in and knew could win... gone. The playoffs are over. Unless my sweet sweet Chris Pronger can do his magic in net too, were fucked. I cant even write about this.
Digit and the Oilers letting me down. Dang.

also, i have a plan if they decide to play conk in net again tonight. we teather him to the front of the fucking thing. i'm hoping that in light of Roli not returning the oil don;t loose the next 3..

I had the dogs that goofed on in class. And BeagleGirl has trust issues around other dogs so while all the other dogs are lying down I'm down on the floor with her coaxing her to stay down and trust everyone around her. Being down in a submissive position and she's not down with that.
You don't even have faith in "Juicy" Markanen? I hope Ty raises to the occasion, though. Gotta support UNH alums!
Oh, and did you know that Cam Ward hails from the Edmonton area? Ouch!
Im really trying to have faith in Conks and Jussi. Its the closest that a 'Juicy' will ever get to being engraved on the Stanley Cup.

Long time reader, first time commenting...I love your dog! I want an Italian Greyhound but we have 2 dogs and my husband says no more dogs than people in our house!

Jussi played alright actually. It was the rest of the Oilers that didn't play well. Which totally sucked. They better at least show some pride when they come home and not stink up the place.
